The 2GIG PS15EMZ5-1 is a smart plug-in EM home appliance module designed to be used with compatible Z-Wave control panels. Remotely control devices with the EM Appliance Module. Plug in the tea kettle, light or small appliance and activate it on a schedule, from your phone or Smart Switch. And with Energy Monitoring capability, know how Green your appliances are performing. It will also light your path with an integrated LED night light.
The PS15EMZ5-1 Plug-in Appliance Module is designed to provide Z-Wave control to a connected load. The PS15EMZ5-1 module is plugged into any standard grounded AC wall outlet, and the appliance or other device is then plugged into the module. Once connected, the appliance/device can be turned on or off remotely via the Z-Wave controller. The module contains two power receptacles - one controlled, and one pass-through (powered at all times).
This plug-in Appliance Module integrates with other Nortek Security & Control Z-Wave enabled products, and can also act as a wireless repeater to ensure that commands intended for another device in the network are received (useful when a device would otherwise be out of radio range).

This product is great. I can remotely power down my lamps downstairs before I go to sleep, turn on my coffee machine in the morning and that's probably it's best use so far. Works great with my 2GIG edge panel and use it on the alarm.com app.

I had no issues with the installation of this into my 2GIG control panel. The key is to follow the directions - which are really basic. So far, it's been working great. no complaints. Works flawlessly.

We're very happy with this product which is a great value.I bought a couple of them. My main purpose was for my office, where it seems I live most of my life these days. I have several things I use regularly, but don't want on all the time, but which were not easily switched on and off on-the-fly ... a desk lamp, a fan, a set of powered computer speakers, a printer, and a scanner. It was fairly quick and simple to connect.Love it!
