I hesitated to take this task on, but after watching the video, I realized it wasn't that difficult. It literally took 5-10 minutes tops, and it worked properly first time. If you are hesitating to upgrade the software to version 9 and install the newer LTE communicator, don't! Its really quite easy.

Initially my L7000 would not see the SD card, but after I seated the circuit board firmly the update went as planned. You have to enter the prompts in the correct order; be sure to follow the steps in the video. I am now on Rev. 09.00213

Wow am i thankful for the Honeywell lynxtouch-msd. I have a honeywell l5200 system and thought that i was going to need a new security panel to upgrade to the lte cell network but, with this tool i don't have to. i used the video on their page and got my revision number up to 9. I decided to go with teh Verizon lte cell module as i get better serivce in my area with verizon. thanks geoarm!
