The LiftMaster® 821LMC-S MyQ® Smart Garage Hub is a universal smartphone garage door controller that is compatible with most opener brands. Imagine receiving an alert if you left your garage open. Or being able to turn on your lights when you're not home. The LiftMaster 821LMC-S smart garage hub lets you monitor, open and close your garage door from anywhere and control home lighting all from your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Easily add the 821LMC-S MyQ smartphone control to virtually all other garage door openers in North America that have safety photo eyes. The LiftMaster 821LMC-S is an garage door retrofit for interative capabilities. Using the 821LMC-S, and the compatible app you can now remotely control your garage door from anywhere. The MyQ Smart Garage Hub is compatible with most garage door opener brands manufactured after 1993. Control up to two garage door openers at once with an additional garage door sensor, enables up to 16 myQ accessories including LED lights and light controls; acts as a WiFi bridge for Yale | LiftMaster Locks.
The 821LMC-S contents include; (1) WiFi Hub, (1) Door Sensor (additional sensor sold separately as 821LMC-SENSOR), (1) Power Adapter, (1) Installation Manual, (1) Set of Mounting Hardware.
Product Features:
- MyQ Technology: provides 2-way communication enabling you to securely monitor and control most garage door opener brands, along with home lighting, with your smartphone, tablet or computer.
- Alerts: can be received as email or pop-up (push) notifications on your mobile device so that you always know the status of your garage door and home lighting.
- Controls up to two garage doors: at once (requires extra door sensor, sold separately 821LMC-2SENSOR) and up to 16 MyQ-Enabled smart devices (including LED lights and light controls).
- WiFi Hub: mounts near garage door opener and plugs into outlet. The hub wirelessly communicates with the garage door opener over your home's WiFi.
- MyQ Radio: Provides 2-way communication from garage door opener and MyQ Accessories. Enables monitoring and control of garage door openers and lighting controls via smartphone, tablet or computer.
- Amazon In-Garage Delivery: Enables secure in-garage delivery for Amazon Prime packages. Eligible Prime Members simply download the Key by Amazon App and link it to your myQ account.
- Scheduling: Conveniently allows you to close and secure your garage door or have your lights turn on/off at designated times.
- Guest Access: Securely share access with people you know and trust through the myQ Guest feature.

This was recommended to me for replacement of my 828 liftmaster device. So far so good. It works with my Alarm.com phone app and was not that difficult to install. GeoArm had my back with the Technical Support as I got stuck a few times. Thanks for bailing me out Sal.
