The Videofied PP1 power option is designed for the Videofied XT/XTO Series control panels. With the PP1 power option installed the XT/XTO-Series panels can operate wirelessly and cordlessly. Even for applications with higher video alarm activity the batteries can last up to 2 years. With lower activity, the batteries can last up to 4 years.
The PP1 is a great power option for outdoor sites, applications with temporary security needs like construction/renovation, and any remote sites where power is inactive or unavailable. Battery-powered control panels are not recommended for installing in uncontrolled, outdoor contexts with high activity or the possibility of animals constantly tripping a Videofied system. Even for uncontrolled, outdoor applications the batteries may last up to 1 year.
