Honeywell Lyric SiXFOB Product Description:
The Honeywell Lyric SiXFOB is a wireless, 4-button, encrypted remote keyfob intended for use with Honeywell controls that support SiX™ series devices. The Lyric SiXFOB can be programmed into the Honeywell Lyric Controller (LCP500-L) in a matter of minutes. When setting up, please remember to enroll and update the SiXFOB firmware (via the Lyric Controller) to ensure the latest version is being used. Once enrolled, the SiXFOB device cannot be used with another system until it is removed from the current controller due to its Lyric Lock feature. Each SiXFOB device has a unique MAC number located on the sticker on the unit.
Auto-enrollment of the SiXFOB to the Lyric Controller is a breeze. When ready to receive the SiXFOB transmitter's information on the KEYS enrollment screen of the Lyric Controller, press the top two buttons together for about two seconds to cause the transmitter to register with the Lyric Controller. Then, just press the top two buttons again to complete the enrollment. The Honeywell SiXFOB is flash upgradeable and can be upgraded via the Lyric control panel in the Master Tools "Advanced" screen. When performing a SiXFOB firmware update, it requires the user to press a button to activate the fob. Press and hold all four keyfob buttons for 5 seconds at once, immediately after starting the update.
The Honeywell SiXFOB has a built-in piezo sounder for confirmation of arm, disarm, enrollment, or alarm conditions. Likewise, the fob has a red and green LED that provides the status for the enrollment into the controller, status for arming, disarming, alarm, low battery (no LED) and RF transmission. The SixFob has multi-button operation which can include control of connected Z-Wave Home Automation Devices and panic features. With the SiXFOB there are recessed keys which help reduce buttons from accidentally being pressed which cause false alarms.
The SiXFOB uses a 3V lithium coin battery. It is recommended you replace with a 3V 210mAh lithium coin battery manufactured by Maxell CR2032 or Duracell DL2032. The SiXFOB does not send supervision check-in signals but it will still send low-battery signals to the controller. The wireless range of the SiXFOB is 300ft+ (92+ meters) indoor (non-line of site). This distance will vary based on each installation due to environmental conditions.
