Please Note: The Resolution Products RE619 wireless Cryptix home disaster sensor has been discontinued and replaced by the Alula RE619 model number.
The Resolution Products RE619 is a CryptiX-encrypted, tri-mode environmental, wireless home disaster sensor. The RE619 sensor is designed to detect flood/moisture, freeze and overheat conditions. The RE619 flood alarm will trigger when liquid rises 0.040 inches above the sensor bottom. The flood sensor checks for moisture every 5 seconds and needs two positive moisture checks to send a flood alarm (test mode: every second when cover is off). The RE619 freeze alarm will activate, for furnace failure, when the temperature drops below 40°F. The overheat alarm will trigger, for furnace runaway or air conditioning failure, when the room temperature rises above 100°F.
To enroll the RE619 disaster sensor, begin with placing the panel in enrollment mode. Next, just tamper the RE619 device. By default the flood will enroll first. You may choose to add just the freeze or just the overheat, or use all three together.
