This is a pretty simple motion sensor without other functions, but it works well. I haven't encountered false readings or even failures. There are cheaper motion sensors out there, but this one is very responsive. I've read that others don't always report motion, so if you're critical to get notifications immediately, this is the one to get. It has an adjustable switch for sensitivity in case you have pets, but I haven't tested it out since I don't have any pets. The battery seems to last a long time. It's been about three months since I purchased it, and it's still reporting 100% battery in a hallway that sees movement quite regularly.

I am giving this product a 5-star rating because purchased this item years ago and it works great. This is the best choice for a motion sensor I?ve made, and I love this security motion sensor.

Very pleased with the reliability and range through multiple brick walls. Simply a great product. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, no more and no less. I highly recommend it!

I've been using these for years to monitor two stairways in my house. They just work. I am very happy with this addition to my smart home. VERY RELIABLE.
