The Qolsys QZ2140-840 IQ Dimmer is a plug-in lamp module designed for dimmable lights. Using the IQ Dimmer you can remotely control a lamp and turn it on, off or any degree in between. The QS-QZ2140-840 plugs into any standard outlet and even acts as a repeater to strengthen the performance of your Z-Wave network. With the IQ Dimmer you can also create easy rules to automate your home, and even send notifications that let you know when your light has been left on.

Please note, the IQ Dimmer is intended for indoor use only.

I needed some more smart plugs when I added more lights around the house and this works well and pairs easily across the network. So overall an excellent if pricey system.

The easiest way to add Z-wave control to plug-in lighting fixtures. Z wave techology is fantatsic. Very fast response time and simple. Great for inexpensive but effective home automation.
