The DSC PTK5507W is a hardwired 7" touchscreen white-color alarm keypad in white-color that can be used on DSC PowerSeries V4.2+ security systems that have up to 64 zones. With a slim modern design the PTK5507W touchscreen keypad has menu driven, intuitive screens that make business and home security programming very easy.
Building from the default or optional displays the user can quickly configure five of the graphical icons from over 10 options. The PTK5507W keypad has up to 8 partitions available which allows for multi-partition control without having to replace the control panel. Each partition acts independently form the rest of the PowerSeries security system. The keypad displays time and date, and can be further customized by the user. For example, if the user doesn't want to see partitions but wants to turn the chimes on and off, they can simply hide/display the appropriate icons. The clutter-free home screen can be simply modified later by the user through password-protected setting menus.
The PTK5507W keypad connects to the PC1616, PC1832 or PC1864 control panel via the 4-wire keybus. The keypad has large and clearly recognizable on-screen buttons and menu driven screens that make programming easy. For example, to access the Fire, Auxiliary, Panic keys, users just press the EMERGENCY button on the sidebar. Quick view LED status lights (Ready-Green, Armed-Red, Trouble-Yellow and AC Power-Green) on the bottom of the frame provide a quick visual check of the security system. The integrated digital picture frame gives users the flexibility to display photos as a single photo or a timed slideshow or default background screen. Just insert an updated standard SD card into the SD slot and follow the on-screen prompts.
