Encore FF345 Product Description:
The Encore FireFighter™ FF345 is the newest innovation from Encore Controls Inc. It is the easiest, most cost effective way to add fire alarm monitoring to your 2GIG or Honeywell (345) security system. The FF345 FireFighter's unique technology monitors the existing UL smoke detectors within the home. When an alarm is detected a wireless signal is sent to the control panel which in turn contacts the GeoArm central monitoring station. With interconnected hardwired smoke detectors found in most homes today, only one FireFighter is needed to monitor ALL the UL smoke detectors within the home.
With the FF345 wirelessly monitor ANY single or linked UL-listed hardwired smoke detector in a home by simply installing ONE FireFighter within 6 inches of any one of the existing smoke detectors. Please note, the FF345 is an audio detector that is intended only for use with smoke detectors but it does not detect the presence of smoke, heat, or fire directly. This device is not intended to replace smoke, heat or fire detectors in the fire alarm system, it is a secondary listening device.
