Please Note: The Uplink CDMAEZ universal cellular CDMA alarm communicator has been discontinued and replaced by the LTE30EX model number.
The Uplink CDMAEZ is a primary and redundant universal cellular CDMA alarm communicator for most existing security systems. The Uplink CDMAEZ is an "always on," multi-purpose, FCC-certified device capable of sending and receiving alarm signals or other data over the CDMA Cellular Network.
When connected to an alarm system, the CDMAEZ will send alarm signals over the cellular network to Uplink's alarm processing center, that will forward the signals to the appropriate monitoring station and/or selected email addresses. The CDMAEZ can be connected to an alarm system using up to four inputs on the CDMAEZ. Each of these inputs can be set up to send a selected signal to the GeoArm monitoring station. Contact ID, SIA, Modem IIe/IIIa2 and 4/2 (:20 PPS) formats are supported. The CDMAEZ also has two configurable relay outputs to send signals to alarm panels or control other devices. The customer-supplied 12 V DC power supply/battery charger should be capbable of supplying 500 mA peak for brief high current demands of the radio during transmission.
