The Alarm.com ADC-VDBA-770BLI is an battery-less insert for the ADC-VDB770 video doorbell. The newer ADC-VDB770 video doorbells will include the ADC-VDBA-770BLI instead of an internal battery and heater. The new version video doorbells will be marked on the packaging and by a new hardware version number HWV0310+.
The ADC-VDBA-770BLI is suitable for replacing the battery in both mechanical and wireless chime installations. However, if you're dealing with a digital chime installation, you'll need a battery, so please use the Alarm.com ADC-VDBA-770BAT. It's worth noting that all ADC-VDB770 doorbells are now delivered with the ADC-VDBA-770BLI already pre-installed.
