Uplink 2540 Product Description:
The Uplink 2540 is a universal cellular CDMA alarm communicator that works with most existing alarm systems. The Uplink 2540 CDMA cellular alarm communicator establishes wireless alarm communication in areas where GSM cellular coverage is scarce or nonexistent. When a phone line is compromised, the Uplink 2540 intercepts the Contact ID alarm signals and wirelessly trasmits the data to GeoArm's nationwide central alarm monitoring station. The Uplink 2540 consists of a CDMA modem and an alarm interface module (which includes an integrated power supply & telephone line monitor) integrated into a high-quality metal enclosure.
